It’s relatively low-growing (under three feet with flower), which makes it versatile in mixed plantings.
The showiness of ‘Blonde Ambition’ comes from an abundance of horizontal seed heads, which resemble elegant, petite flags. They emerge chartreuse, and like many superstars, transform to blonde. These exquisite blooms hover above thin, blue-green, two-foot stems.
