HOFFMAN NURSERY APPOINTS NEW SALES DIRECTOR
Magan Agee named Director of Sales for ornamental and native grass liner nursery.
Rougemont, NC (September 8, 2014) – Hoffman Nursery, Inc. appointed Magan Agee to the position Director of Sales on June 1, 2014. She had served as Sales and Customer Service Coordinator since late 2011. Agee now oversees the sales team and coordinates customer services for the nursery.
Agee came to the nursery with retail sales experience outside the green industry. After joining the Hoffman Nursery team in 2009, she rapidly gained a firm knowledge of grasses. According to nursery president, John Hoffman, “Magan has become well-informed and educated about grasses. She advises growers on their grass programs and can recommend grasses for all kinds of situations. She has built strong relationships with customers—they tell us it’s a pleasure to work with Magan.”
The opportunity to develop the sales department further is exciting for Agee. “I love this job and working for Hoffman Nursery. I’m thrilled to see us growing and look forward to finding new ways to work with our customers.” Agee is also committed to learning more. To complement her on-the-job experience, she is working on a degree in agricultural business management with a minor in horticulture at North Carolina State University.
Hoffman Nursery, located in Rougemont, North Carolina, specializes in ornamental and native grass liners for the wholesale trade. Since its founding in 1986, the nursery has expanded to include a production facility with automated mixing and potting equipment and over 60 cold frames and hot houses. They ship ornamental and native grass liners to wholesale customers across North America.
