  • Growth rate: slow
  • Grow in quart size or one gallon containers
  • Grow in well-drained soil
  • Water needs: keep evenly moist; do not let plant dry out
  • Fertilizing: use a slow release, low-rate fertilizer
  • Possible pests: aphids, leaf spot, fungus gnat larvae
  • Overwintering: cold frame with clear poly
  • This is a slow-growing plant. Requires shade in hot summer months.
