  • Growth rate: medium-fast
  • Grow in 2 or 3 gallon containers or larger
  • Grow in well-drained soil
  • Water needs: keep evenly moist
  • Fertilizing: use a slow release, medium-rate fertilizer
  • Possible pests: spidermites, aphids, leaf spot, rust
  • Overwintering: no special needs; do not overwater
  • This grass can flop if fertilized too much
  • If cutting back this plant, do so in early in the growing season to allow time for new growth to mature.
