Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Foxtrot’ is a long-time favorite in the nursery world. It is one of the largest- and strongest-growing fountain grasses. Giant Fountain Grass is an impressive ornamental grass with its four-foot fountain shape of narrow, green foliage. In midsummer, stalks topped with four-inch, pink-tinted bottlebrush seedheads appear. The slightest breeze causes elegant movement, much like the dance for which Pennisetum alopecuroides ‘Foxtrot’ is named. Use as a specimen or plant in groups for a stunning show. This is one of several patent-free plants that Kurt Bluemel has selected and introduced to the market. It was formerly called P. alopecuroides ‘Japonicum’.

GROWER INFO & TIPS
- Growth rate: fast
